The tripple US Patented MagRunner 220 is an extremely deep diving lure, featuring our unique 2 tow system, a Biodynamic Signature body design, running speeds of over 10 knots, the 2nd Generation 4-mag version of the US patented HookMag instant Stinger hook magnetizer, with 4 replaceable magnets, and stainless steel ball bearing swivels, the latter makes it hard for fish to throw the lure.

Georgios Toris and SALTA’s design team created the world’s first ultra deep diving plug, capable of running unassisted at depths of 115ft. Now you can reach those deep schools of fish you see in your echosounder in the summer.

The Biodynamic Signature body of the MagRunner 220 was designed with the Bullet Tuna as model, making it a strong swimmer and diver.

The MagRunner 220 was designed to run predictable, straight, fast and deep at any conditions. Just toss it out!

The MagRunner 220 is a very strong diver, so you can run it with any size leader up to and over 600 lbs, and you can run it with a mini Daisy chain, just make sure the connection to the tow has enough space inside to allow it to move freely.

The 1st tow allows you to troll with lighter line, the 2nd tow is for ultra deep trolling. Optimal speed for reaching those extreme depths is 2-6 knots, but you can run the lure to over 10 knots on the 2nd tow.

The MagRunner 220 will catch you Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo and more.

When it comes to catching wahoo, we think that running ultra deep at “low” speeds, equals or beats high speed trolling, as you reach them in their comfort zone, all year round.

At 11-12 knots, the lure produces a drag of about 30 pounds.

The MagRunner 220 was designed and tested by Georgios Toris and the SALTA design team, in Skagerak, Sweden, home of the giant BFT, in Florida and Bermuda.

The MagRunner 220 is made of ultra strong aircraft grade Polycarbonate, that’s 2 times stronger than ABS. It was built to not just withstand the toughest fish species, but to hit the boat deck and take unintended abuse.

The MagRunner features the following hardware.

• 2pcs of SALTA’s stainless steel big game hooks 10/0
• 2pcs stainless steel ball bearing swivels CENTRO SSBB2R-6 445lb or 200kg test
• 4pcs of SALTA’s heavy duty stainless steel split rings 320lb or 145kg test
• 1pc PPS screw M3
• 1pc PPS nut M3

This combo of hardware makes it easy to change the swivels and hooks, and the HookMag magnets.

The belly hook is releasably retained in the Stinger position by the US Patented 2nd Generation 4-mag HookMag with 4 replaceable magnets, increasing hook ups and keeping the belly hook from interfering with the lure body, ensuring hassle free trolling.

The HookMag keeps the belly hook in the Stinger position up to 10 knots.

The 4 magnets for the HookMag are easily replaced, and are bought separately, in a kit together with a replacement screw and a Hex key.
